A site search for ‘home education’ goes to a page without content (screenshot, 11/08/15)
Previous content:
“The Education (Scotland) Act 1980 states that it shall be the duty of the parent of every child of school age to provide efficient education for him suitable to his age, ability or aptitude either by causing him to attend a public school regularly or by other means.
North Lanarkshire Council recognises that home education is a key aspect of parental choice, and is an equally valid choice alongside the option to send a child to school.
General guidance about home education can be obtained from the Scottish Government website, you can access this by using the External Links box at the right of your page.
For further information please use the Contact us at the right of your page.”
