No response  to FOI request within statutory time limit. Reminder sent:

Dear Ms Langton,

 

 I do not appear to have received a response to my FOI  request dated 15 December 2010, which is now overdue.

 

 Please advise as to why Edinburgh City Council is withholding the information requested, which should already be available to members of the public on the council’s website.

FOI request sent to council and acknowledged  on 15.10.2010:

Under the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002, please provide me with the following information in electronic format at your earliest convenience.

• A direct link url to your council’s elective home education policy

 

• A direct link url to your information for parents regarding elective home education

 

• Details of your named home education contact with telephone number and email addres

 

• In the absence of direct website links, please forward copies of your policy, procedures and all information which you provide to parents on elective home education.

 

Please also confirm that all officers of Edinburgh City Council who deal with home educating or prospective home educating parents are conversant with, and operate within the parameters outlined in, the statutory guidance on home education issued  by the Scottish Government.
